It's been fun to watch my photo make the rounds. Given that this is a Japanese blog, it is interesting to note the photo was taken in Okinawa. My family had just moved to Okinawa in August 1981. Sadly, many of my classmates thought that I was a typewriter.

yeah, I should have realized it was taken in Okinawa when I saw the link.
It's true that '81 is little too early to show off the computer costume. In another word, you were too cool!
